Matcha, Music & Milestones: Inside Our Matcha Rave Party
On 20 September, Hub & Spoke Café turned a little greener, louder and sweeter as we welcomed more than 200 adults and kids to our Matcha Rave Party.
What began as a celebration of our Strawberry Matcha Latte quickly became something even more special: a lively afternoon of drinks, music, movement, family fun and, as it turned out, a birthday celebration too.
It was one of those days that brought together everything we love at Company of Wellness: good energy, small moments of wellness and a community coming together simply to enjoy themselves.
Strawberry Matcha, Served Party-Style
Of course, the star of the afternoon was our Strawberry Matcha Latte.
Participants were treated to a specially prepared Strawberry Matcha Latte, a playful mix of strawberry, matcha, and coffee that perfectly suited the mood of the party.
For those who preferred something without caffeine, we also served Inner Strength Tea, so everyone could still have a refreshing drink in hand while enjoying the party.
Because we wanted everyone to take a little piece of the party home, each participant received a specially prepared cup carrier.
One side held their drink, while the other carried a mini box of Strawberry Matcha Latte. We even added a cute keychain to complete it.
DJ Lenerd Turned Up the Energy
A rave would not be a rave without music.
DJ Lenerd kept the energy going throughout the afternoon, bringing the crowd together with music, letting everyone enjoy the atmosphere.
From catching up over drinks to moving along to the music, Hub & Spoke quickly became much more than a café for the day. It became our little Matcha Rave space.
And while some guests were dancing, others were taking the opportunity to slow down.
A 15-Minute Reset With Aevi
Wellness did not stop at what was in the cup.
The team from AEVI Sports and Physio joined us for the event and offered participants complimentary 15-minute massage sessions.
Between the music, activities and festive energy, it was a chance to take a short breather, loosen up and enjoy a little physical reset before heading back into the party.
It was exactly the kind of balance we wanted the afternoon to have: high energy when you wanted it, and a moment to recharge when you needed it.
The little ones had their own space to enjoy too.
Together with The Shared Table, we set up a dedicated kids’ corner where children could get creative with hands-on activities. It gave the kids something fun to focus on while parents enjoyed the rest of the event.
From colourful crafts to proudly showing off their finished telescopes, the kids’ corner quickly became one of the sweetest parts of the party.
Then Came Another Reason to Celebrate…
Halfway through the afternoon, the Matcha Rave Party became a birthday party too.
Company of Wellness turned TWO!
We gathered around for the cake-cutting and birthday song singing.
For a brand that started with a belief in better habits, better ingredients and becoming a better version of yourself, celebrating our second birthday surrounded by customers, families, friends and partners felt especially meaningful.
Two years in, we are still learning, growing and finding new ways to make wellness feel more approachable, enjoyable and part of everyday life.
And that deserved a proper celebration.
After the birthday song and cake-cutting came another crowd favourite: the lucky draw. Winners were announced, prizes were given out and the excitement carried straight back into the party.
Then the music came back up, drinks stayed in hand, and the Matcha Rave continued. No long speeches. No overly serious programme.
Just a Saturday afternoon with plenty of energy, treats, music and people enjoying themselves.
