GLOW is about diet, skin and training — useful, low-stakes, easy to act on. PRO includes predisposition indications for cancers, dementia, Parkinson's and mental health conditions. Plenty of people find that motivating. Others find it worrying, especially if someone in the family has been affected.
There's no wrong answer. But it's worth asking yourself now how you'd want to handle a result marked High — and if you're not sure, either add the consultation so you're not reading it alone, or stay with GLOW. You can always add PRO later.
A high result means a stronger genetic tendency than the reference population. It cannot tell you whether you have a condition or will ever develop one.
This panel does not test BRCA1, BRCA2, Lynch syndrome or other single-gene inherited conditions. A low result here does not rule any of those out. If you have a strong family history, ask your doctor about a clinical genetics referral instead.
Keep your mammograms, cervical screening, colonoscopy and blood tests on schedule whatever your report says. A low genetic risk is not a reason to skip them.
If something feels wrong right now, see a doctor. A predisposition report is not the tool for that, and waiting for one could cost you time.
Most people open their report, read the first three traits, feel something, and never open it again. The session exists to stop that happening.
You send your report over ahead of time and tell us what you most want to get out of it — weight, skin, energy, training, or something specific that has been bothering you.
We go through it together and translate: what a 90th percentile actually means for you, which results are worth acting on, and which ones are interesting but not urgent.
You leave with a written summary and three changes to start with. Not a forty-point plan you will abandon by Thursday.
To be clear about what this is: a wellness consultation, not a medical appointment. We don't diagnose, prescribe, or interpret your results clinically, and we can't tell you whether you'll develop a condition. If something in your report needs a doctor — and with PRO, some things will — we'll say so plainly and point you to one rather than guess.
No. PRO is read from the sample you've already sent, so there's nothing new to collect. If you're adding PRO before your kit has shipped, it's simply reported together with GLOW.
Yes, and plenty of people do — it's a reasonable way to decide whether you want the fuller picture. Re-reporting takes roughly 2–3 weeks, and we hold your sample for 12 months. After that window you'd need a new kit.
